Confirm the project starts from the correct company or project template.
Confirm units, project name, discipline data, and key metadata are correct.
Make sure the building grid and level structure are correct before heavy modelling.

Set up coordination, modelling, and documentation views in a controlled way.
Only enable worksharing when the team workflow requires it and there is a clear plan.

Decide whether the model will stay native or be initiated as a cloud-based model.
Define how reviewed information will move through the common data environment.
Make sure the intended CADmep environment is being used for the project.
Confirm the correct database path, content source, and configuration are active.
Check that users can access the correct services and that content aligns with standards.
Ensure item content is controlled, accessible, and relevant to the intended workflow.
Confirm reporting, renumbering, spool, and PCF workflows can run as expected.
Make sure file, view, and sheet naming align with agreed project standards.
Check sheet logic, issue routes, and revision approach before issuing anything.
Check that linked models, roles, and coordination responsibilities are understood.
Create at least one sample PDF, report, or export and review it properly.
